Assassin's Creed Revelations

That Assassin's Creed Revelations was one of the most anticipated titles of not only the extensive line-up of Ubisoft, but of the entire Edition 2011 this E3, certainly not a novelty. After placing on the market of three triple-A titles in only three years, each capable of reaching dizzying finishing hopelessly sales to create one of the most important franchise of the current generation, the software house of Guillemot stands so the mask and presents the first real ingame footage of this fourth chapter, as well as the final trilogy ring of Officer, decorate it with an interesting demo multiplayer which, of course, I could not participate.

The events narrated in Revelations take place in the early sixteenth century, with the city of Rome now free from the dictatorship of the Borgia and Ezio, visibly aged but no less lethal, engaged in personal research on the origins of the sect of assassins that led up to the city of Istanbul: an inner journey that follows in the footsteps of the legendary Altairthe discovery of an important secret depends on the fate of the order.

Needless to say, for what awaits Ezio will not be at all a trip of pleasure: the army of the Templars wanders the streets of the city, eager as always to terminating the accounts with the archenemy and, more than anything else, to keep those yearned information that, in the wrong hands, could mean the end of the race about the murders.

The demo consists of the capital district, SSAS, with Ottoman forces already alerted to the presence of Ezio and, for this reason, diligent in blocking every possible escape route with a huge chain, slid along the surface of the water so as to preclude any vessel berthed the chance to sail. Our task, of course, will be to sabotage the annoying enemy ploy and come aboard our vessel before opposing militias blocking it.

Observing carefully the material proposed by Ubisoft, jump immediately to the eye some interesting news: first, Ezio can engage in some sort of bomb-crafting, which mainly consists in the creation of explosive or smoke from objects and materials collected at various locations. We are also the first official appearance of the grapple, a trinket to move between the roofs of the Turkish city that allows attaching ropes and cables on the fly and then slip on them: you'll see yourself using this offensive weapon, especially in the presence of enemy soldiers placed just below the rope on which we are slipping.

The control scheme remains unchanged line, immediacy and ease of use to anyone who has got to spend some time in the alleys Romans of BrotherHood. Regret having to say that the introduction of a couple of interesting times, little was done to develop the combat system, Achilles ' heel of Ubisoft: once enemies end up hopelessly to attack Ezio one by one, while being around him in clear majority, risking to turn a fight apparently learn (and to some extent stimulating) in a "step 2" where the key to victory patience.
