Need for Speed: The Run

The Need for Speed series is bounced back to great in recent years after a period of decided fogging and Electronic Arts, as evidenced by the new chapter out before the end of 2011, become increasingly bold.

The three words that make up the title of this saga are now printed to fire in the minds of the players and will probably still more saw the future that awaits us, for clandestine races of Underground, Carbon and ProStreet seem a thing.

Need for Speed: The Run leads for the first time the series on roads not yet beaten, and at the helm of this new chapter we find the Black Box team, which took about two and a half years to show us his new vision of NFS.

The creators of the Most spectacular chapter Wanted to amaze everyone once again and decided to take some creative risk, a move very risky given the period not happy for software house specialized in driving games.

This imagined sense of challenge since the same name: one of The Run will be the most illegal and lengthy race to which there is ever to attend a race at breakneck speed from San Francisco to New York against other 150 competitors willing to do anything to win ... and with the breath of the security forces always behind the neck.

You know the legendary Cannonball Race immortalized by Hollywood in various movies? Same thing, but in The Run, if possible, even more extreme.

The choice to change totally style of play might be considered risky, now that the series reached its equilibrium rather consolidated, yet you leave tracks which were previously used for the chance to run free (or almost) about 325 miles of asphalt with the support of more refined Autolog.

Once again we keep constantly under control the performance of our friends, represented here by the cumulative time of various stages of this thrilling coast-to-coast American. Single and multiplayer will be integrated as never before, to form a single entity.

Waiting for this title is made even more important when developers have announced that The Run will use the Frostbite 2.0, the same engine that sway the monstrous Battlefield 3. The new Need for Speed, therefore, appears promising, not only in terms of gameplay ...

To everything there is added that The Run also has a story to tell. Since his first ad developers insisted that this Need for Speed more than a racing game, match rather than an intense action game in Hollywood-style in which they are provided, as we know, even foot sections.

Obviously, EA and Black Box did not reveal anything about the history and the only things that we know so far that the protagonist is called Jack, who must get pi quickly possible in New York on his trail there only the police but also an organization known as The Mob.

What's behind all this is not possible to know, at least for now, but we want to point something that also involved in the affair will be a woman? Maybe the girl, or the sister of Jack ...
