Preview: Assassin's Creed Revelations

The day when Ubisoft ads that, with the release of Brotherhood, the franchise's Assassin's Creed was proposed for the first time in its history a multiplayer component, many reacted with diffidence.

Once the game reached the shelves for fear of Eve, left the place in the fun but, as pointed out by Damien Kieken, Multiplayer Game Director of the series, to reach such a level of quality "not affa7tto".

"We did a good job but undeniable that the multiplayer experience was not proposed in Brotherhood among the most simple. There were many things to learn, "he continued. "And why we will introduce a Deathmatch mode".

Deathmatch will be just one of many new planned for multiplayer Assassin's Creed: Revelations but as Kieken has pi times pointed out, the team has worked hard to ensure that the experience is more simple and accessible than of Brotherhood. In Revelation will be removed the ' Compass ' indicating the location of prey, in favor of a new gameplay mechanics.

And the differences will be evident from the first few minutes of play. Structurally things will remain unchanged: the avr line is a prey and Hunter as always but, in addition to removing the "compass", which allowed them to trace the location of your target with some ease, players will be instructed to find and delete a particular skin. The "portrait" of the prey of round cambier color as that of course we come to it, but finding it will be our task.

Small changes, this course, but that promises to be crucial to enhance the basic formula of experience and in particular the ability of observation of individual users, making it both more affordable and intense than gi was not that of Brotherhood.

Some of you at this point are definitely thinking that Ubisoft may have simplified the whole far too much but if cos was not afraid, because there will be lots of meat to the fire for everyone. "We intend to maintain the most complex mode and maybe add something more difficult for those who want to get really tested," explained Kieken. "Scontenteremo no".

Among the news there mention also the introduction of the mode "Artefact Assault", a sort of Capture the Flag in stealth, which while not shining for originality of concept promises to be interesting even in the face of what makes the product.
